Welcome World!!!

So, after a bit of thought, here I am – on the web!!! It’s SO exciting! I decided to start a blog at this point to share my experiences during the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games – très exciting!

After the Games, I will continue to blog about all things and everything “SPORTS” related and how I view things thru my eyes. It is not only my profession but also my passion. I begin this new era by sharing something inspirational, something that truly is at the heart of me and how I will strive for these writings to be.

If you have not yet heard the 2010 Theme Song, it is truly amazing. Those who know me will be happy to know that I cry every time  I hear it or see the below video (quelle surprise!). Those of you who do not shed even one tear; or get even a tingling of goose bumps; or have no pull on your heartstrings, I just have one thing to say to you – “Are you a ROBOT??!!”…Canadians are somewhat known for not being very outwardly patriotic and there are very few things that, I feel, bring this country together. The below video, to me, is so profoundly patriotic and makes me feel so very proud to be Canadian:
